What is Electional Astrology?

Nothing to do with elections or politics! Electional astrology is the technique used to decide upon the most auspicious day and time for a particular event to take place.

How does it work?

It works by first of all ascertaining the nature of the event to take place, and deciding what astrological factors would be most important to ensure the success of that particular kind of event. Then, working within the given range of dates and times, we search for the most suitable day and time, or the one that has the most favourable aspects and the least unfavourable ones. In this way, we can help you to give any particular venture the best possible chance of success.

What kind of event can be planned?

Any event that is important to you, and that has a definite starting moment can be planned in this way. Popular requests include wedding dates, new business launches, house moves and important journeys.

What are the restrictions?

There can be as many or as few restrictions as you like. Say for instance you wish to plan a wedding using electional astrology. You might only know that it must take place sometime in July 99. We would then work to establish the most favourable date in July 99, and then on that date we would select the most favourable time. However, perhaps the only available dates you have are the 7th, 21st or 23rd, and the only available times are 1pm or 3pm on those days. That's fine too - we can work within those restraints to make the most of the astrological influences operating at those times.

Of course, we are not going to suggest to you that you should get married at 3.30 am on a Thursday morning in bleak midwinter -- unless you have indicated that you want us to be absolutely precise and that you are not bothered about the time practicalities! Any event that involves more than one person is bound to have time constraints and other social factors to be taken into consideration, and we will work with you to provide as accurate a solution as we can given all the available information.
